You know this, but we\u2019ll still say it to you. There is no magic pill to swallow that will lead to weight loss, becoming rich, or learning English. You\u2019ll have to stick with learning every day. You\u2019ll fall, you\u2019ll learn, and you\u2019ll excel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our learners have told us that learning English quickly got them their promotion, helped them make new friends, become better communicators and most of all be respected personally and professionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What can you do to learn English quickly?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#1 Find your reason<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You need to have a great reason to learn English quickly. Choose a reason that is strong and powerful. Your reason is what will help you get back up when you make mistakes, get teased or slow down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.     Speak fluently in English<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.     Go abroad to study<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.     Within 8 months, I want to be able to read and understand any article in the newspaper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.     Within 6 months, I want to go up 2 STEP Levels<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.     Within 3 months, I want to have conversations in English with native speakers about everyday topics like food, music, travel, sports etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#2 Know your level<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The most important step in this list is to find your level. Then pick something that is slightly challenging to you. Do not select anything too easy or too hard. It will slow down your learning. There are a lot of free resources on the internet. Select something that you can approximately understand without a dictionary, and difficult enough that you need a dictionary to understand the full meaning. Project Gutenberg is a great free resource for you to experiment with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#3 Create a personal word deck<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Be greedy to build your vocabulary<\/a>. Learn at least 10 new words a day. The more words you learn, the more familiar you get with the English language. You\u2019ll pick up the accent and pronunciation along the way. If you want to be fluent, you must learn a lot of words and their correct context. Using flashcards will help you build your personal word dictionary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#4 Make a routine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Keep the language in your sight, so you can keep it in your mind. Do one activity every day \u2013 read an article or a few pages of a book, try free writing for 10 minutes, find a friend to speak to once a week about what you\u2019ve learned that week, or listen and practice the lyrics of a song. Doing this every day will keep you motivated, helps you learn every day and allow you to pause without breaking your learning. You\u2019ll be able to catch up quickly the next day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#5 Set a time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Create a specific hour during the day to build vocabulary, learn new rules and practice exercises. Think of this as your golden hour of learning and use it wisely. Make sure you\u2019re learning something new and not just revising what you already know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#6 Make as many mistakes as quickly as possible<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The more mistakes you make, the faster you\u2019ll be corrected and the earlier you\u2019ll learn English quickly. Be brave and don\u2019t be afraid of looking like a fool. Be proud that you already know a language, and you\u2019re learning a new one. If you\u2019re genuinely trying to learn, most people will be more than happy to help you. #7 Look for lessons everywhere<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Writers learn by copying sentences of authors they like. Get creative with how you learn. If you like the emails of a colleague at office, find the courage and ask them how they did it. #8 Say no to perfection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

#9 Speak. A LOT.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every morning, upon waking up, think that you are in a land where English is the only language for communication. You must force yourself to think and speak only in English.
